All approaches to schooling are shaped by beliefs and values. While many schools are informed by the beliefs and values of the prevailing culture, Christian schooling offers an education that seeks to be informed by the Christian Gospel. This requires those involved to be immersed in, and shaped by, the biblical story, as well as have an awareness of how the broader cultural context impacts both belief and practice.
This resource, Transformed: Inviting the Bible to Shape Christian Schooling, is an introductory resource on Christian schooling. Divided into three sections if offers an overview of the biblical foundations which inform Christian schooling, addresses the concept of worldview, and discusses how the Bible can shape Christian schooling.
